Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Asim, who said: I never saw Abu Wa'il curse anything at all. Except that he mentioned al-Hajjaj once and said: "O Allah, feed him food from *dari'* (a thorny plant), which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger." Then he said: "If that is more beloved to You."
