Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1316

'Isa ibn Yunus narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) had a large bowl with Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah that would circulate with him wherever he went among his wives. And he used to say in his supplication: "O Allah, provide me with wealth, for noble deeds are not rectified except by wealth."
