Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1317

Abu Usama narrated to us, from Hisham, from his father, that Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah used to supplicate: "O Allah, grant me praise, and grant me glory. There is no glory except through deeds, and there are no deeds except through wealth. O Allah, a little does not suffice me, and I am not fit for it."
