Hadith 17:133
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Abu Malik al-Ashja'i, from Ziyad ibn Hudayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever has a daughter born to him, and he does not bury her alive, and he does not insult her, and he does not prefer his children over her"—meaning the males—"Allah will admit him into Paradise."
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن أبي مالك الأشجعي عن زياد بن حدير عن بن عباس قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من ولدت له ابنة فلم يئدها ولم يهنها ولم يؤثر ولده عليها يعني الذكور أدخله الله الجنة
