Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, he said: Abu Aqil narrated to us, he said: Amr ibn Khalid al-Qurashi narrated to us, he said: I heard Zayd ibn Ali narrating from his father, from his grandfather, from Ali, that when he saw a falling star, he would say: "O Allah, direct it and make it strike [its target], and protect us from the evil of what follows it."
