Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1344

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah informed us, from 'Adi ibn Thabit, from 'Abdullah ibn Yazid, from Abu Mas'ud, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "A man's spending upon his family is a charity."
