Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Jarir ibn Hazim informed us, he said: Bashar ibn Abi Sayf narrated to us, from al-Walid ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Iyad ibn Ghutayf, he said: We entered upon Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah, and he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: "Whoever spends upon his family, or removes harm from a path, then a good deed is [rewarded] by ten times its like."
