Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1378

Al-Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Shayban narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Salamah, that Ya'ish ibn Qays ibn Takhfah narrated to him, from his father, who said: And my father was one of the People of the Bench (Ahl al-Suffah). He said: While I was sleeping on my stomach before dawn, a man nudged me with his foot and said: "This is a lying position that Allah hates." I raised my head, and behold, it was the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
