Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1400

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from al-Hajjaj, from al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to Ali: "He is my brother and my companion."
