Hadith 17:152
Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Abu Yazid al-Madini, who said: ‘Umar went out early to Suhayb and found him having taken a morning drink (or sleeping in the morning). So he sat down until he woke up. Suhayb said: "The Commander of the Believers is sitting on his seat while Suhayb is sleeping and having taken a morning drink!" ‘Umar said to him: "I would not have liked for you to leave a sleep that brings you comfort."
حدثنا أبن علية عن أيوب عن أبي يزيد المديني قال غدا عمر على صهيب فوجده متصبحا فقعد حتى استيقظ فقال صهيب أمير المؤمنين قاعد على مقعدته وصهيب نائم متصبح فقال له عمر ما كنت أحب أن تدع نومة ترفق بك
