Hadith 17:179
Abu Usama narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from 'Amr ibn Ayyub, from the descendants of Jarir, from Abu Zur'ah, who said: Abu Hurayrah used to grasp his beard, then he would take what exceeded the grasp.
حدثنا أبو أسامة عن شعبة عن عمرو بن أيوب من ولد جرير عن أبي زرعة قال كان أبو هريرة يقبض على لحيته ثم يأخذ ما فضل عن القبضة
