Hadith 17:214
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, from al-Awwam, from al-Hakam, who said: I asked Abu Mijlaz about a man who sits and places one of his legs over the other. He said: There is no harm in it. It is only something that the Jews disliked. They said: "He created the heavens and the earth in six days, then He rose [istawa] on the Sabbath, so He sat in that manner."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن العوام عن الحكم قال سألت أبا مجلز عن الرجل يجلس ويضع إحدى رجليه على الأخرى فقال لا بأس به إنما هو شيء كرهته اليهود قالوا إنه خلق السماوات والأرض في ستة أيام ثم استوى يوم السبت فجلس تلك الجلسة
