Hadith 17:221
Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, from Habib, who said: Muhammad saw me while I had placed my leg like this, and he placed his right foot on his left thigh. He said: "Raise it, for they have agreed upon disliking it." He said: So I mentioned it to al-Hasan. He said: "The Jews used to dislike it, so the Muslims opposed them."
حدثنا معاذ بن معاذ عن حبيب قال رآني محمد وقد وضعت رجلي هكذا ووضع قدمه اليمنى على فخذه اليسرى قال فقال ارفعها قد تواطؤا على الكراهية لها قال فذكرت للحسن قال فكانت اليهود يكرهونه فخالفوهم المسلمون
