Hadith 17:226
'Abdullah ibn Idris narrated to us, from Ibn 'Ajlan, from Ibrahim ibn Murrah, from Muhammad ibn Shihab, who said: 'Umar said: "Do not involve yourself in what does not concern you, and keep away from your enemy, and be cautious of your friend—except for the leader, for nothing is equal to the leader. And do not accompany the wicked person, lest he teach you of his wickedness, and do not disclose your secret to him, and consult in your affairs those who fear Allah."
حدثنا عبد الله بن إدريس عن بن عجلان عن إبراهيم بن مرة عن محمد بن شهاب قال قال عمر لا تعترض فيما لا يعنيك واعتزل عدوك واحتفظ من خليك إلا الأمير فإن الأمير لا يعادله شيء ولا تصحب الفاجر فيعلمك من فجوره ولا تفش إليه سرك واستشر في أمرك الذين يخشون الله
