Hadith 17:26
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Thabit ibn 'Ubayd, who said: Zayd ibn Thabit was among the most humorous of people when he was alone with his family, and the most knowledgeable regarding inheritance laws when he sat with the people.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن ثابت بن عبيد قال كان زيد بن ثابت من أفكه الناس إذا خلا مع أهله [ وأفرضهم ] إذا جلس مع القوم
