Hadith 17:287
Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, he said: Zakariya ibn Abi Za'idah narrated to us, he said: Ali ibn al-Aqmar narrated to me that Abu Juhayfah used to say: Sit with the elders, and associate with the wise, and ask the scholars.
حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال حدثنا زكريا بن أبي زائدة قال حدثني علي بن الأقمر أن أبا جحيفة كان يقول جالسوا الكبراء وخالطوا الحكماء وسائلوا العلماء
