Hadith 17:289
Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, who said: Abu al-Darda’ said: "Indeed, part of a man’s understanding is his way of walking and his place of entry." Abu Qilabah said: "May Allah fight the poet, for he says: 'Do not ask about a man, but ask about his companion; for every companion is guided by the one he associates with.'"
حدثنا بن علية عن أيوب عن أبي قلابة قال قال أبو الدرداء أن من فقه الرجل ممشاه ومدخله قال أبو قلابة قاتل الله الشاعر حيث يقول % عن المرء لا تسأل وسل عن قرينه % وكل قرين بالمقارن مهتدي %
