Hadith 17:298
Waki’ narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from ‘Amr ibn Murrah, from Murrah ibn Sharahil, who said: ‘Abdullah said: "Indeed, a man speaks the truth and pursues truthfulness until there does not remain in his heart a place for wickedness the size of a needle for it to settle in. And indeed, he lies and pursues lying until there does not remain in his heart a place for truthfulness the size of a needle for it to settle in."
حدثنا وكيع عن الأعمش عن عمرو بن مرة عن مرة بن شراحيل قال قال عبد الله إن الرجل ليصدق ويتحرى الصدق حتى ما يكون للفجور في قلبه موضع إبرة يستقر فيه وانه ليكذب ويتحرى الكذب حتى ما يكون للصدق في قلبه موضع ابرة يستقر فيه
