Hadith 17:3
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from 'Amr, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from Ya'la ibn Mamlak, from Umm al-Darda', from Abu al-Darda', who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever is given his portion of gentleness has been given his portion of good, and whoever is denied his portion of gentleness has been denied his portion of good."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عمرو عن بن أبي مليكة عن يعلى بن مملك عن أم الدرداء عن أبي الدرداء قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من أعطي حظه من الرفق أعطي حظه من الخير ومن منع حظه من الرفق منع حظه من الخير
