Hadith 17:344
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn al-Akhnas, from al-Walid ibn 'Abd Allah, from Yusuf ibn Mahak, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever acquires a branch of knowledge from the stars has acquired a branch of magic; the more he increases [in the former], the more he increases [in the latter]."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن عبيد الله بن الأخنس عن الوليد بن عبد الله عن يوسف بن ماهك عن بن عباس قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من اقتبس علما من النجوم اقتبس شعبة من السحر زاد ما زاد
