Hadith 17:405
Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Asim, who said: I said to Abu Mijlaz: "What about a man saying to another man, 'Convey my greeting to so-and-so,' and there is no harm [in it]?" He said: "It is a trust. But if he says, 'Convey [a message] on your behalf,' then he is at liberty."
