Hadith 17:45
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Isma’il, from Qays, who said: ‘Uyaynah entered upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) and did not ask for permission. So ‘Aishah said: “O Messenger of Allah, who is this?” He said: “This is a foolish man who is obeyed among his people.” He said: Then a drink was brought, so he covered himself, then he drank. [She] said: “O Messenger of Allah, what is this?” He said: “This is modesty; a trait among them which they were given, and you have lost it.”
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن إسماعيل عن قيس قال دخل عيينة على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ولم يستأذن فقالت عائشة يا رسول الله من هذا قال هذا أحمق مطاع في قومه قال ثم أتي بشراب فاستتر ثم شرب [ فقالت ] يا رسول الله ما هذا قال هذا الحياء خلة فيهم أعطوها وضيعتموها
