Hadith 17:456
Waki’ narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from al-Sha’bi, from Shurayh, who said: No two men ever met, except that the one of them closest to Allah is the one who initiates the greeting of peace.
حدثنا وكيع عن بن عون عن الشعبي عن شريح قال ما التقى رجلان قط إلا كان أولاهما بالله الذي يبدأ بالسلام
