Hadith 17:524
Narrated to us Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman, from Ash'ath, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: I asked him about a man who seeks permission to enter upon me but does not offer the greeting (salam); should I give him permission? He said: I dislike that I should give him permission, although people do it.
حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن أشعث عن أبي الزبير عن جابر قال سالته عن الرجل يستأذن علي ولا يسلم آذن له قال أكره أن آذن له والناس يفعلونه
