Hadith 17:53
Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Dinar, from Abu Qabus, the freed slave of 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr, attributing it to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace): "The merciful ones are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Show mercy to those on the earth, and He who is in the heaven will show mercy to you."
حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عمرو بن دينار عن أبي قابوس مولى لعبد الله بن عمرو عن عبد الله بن عمرو يبلغ به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الراحمون يرحمهم الرحمن ارحموا أهل الأرض يرحمكم من في السماء
