Hadith 17:531
Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Yunus, from Abu al-Haram, from a man from the people of the Hijaz, who said: My wife said, "Bring Abu Hurayrah to me so that I may ask him for a legal opinion regarding something." So I went to him, and he came with me. When we reached the door, he said, "Enter the house." I entered and said, "This is Abu Hurayrah who has come." He said, "Peace be upon you, may I enter?" We said, "Enter in peace." He repeated, "Peace be upon you, may I enter?" We said, "Enter in peace." He said, "Say: 'Enter'." Then he said, "Peace be upon you, may I enter?" We said to him, "Enter." So he entered.
حدثنا بن علية عن يونس عن أبي الحرام عن رجل من أهل الحجاز قال قالت امرأتي ائتني بأبي هريرة حتى أستفتيه عن بعض شيء فأتيته فجاء معي فلما انتهينا إلى الباب قال ادخل الدار فدخلت فقلت هذا أبو هريرة قد جاء فقال السلام عليكم أدخل فقلنا أدخل بسلام فعاد فقال السلام عليكم أدخل فقلنا ادخل بسلام قال قولوا ادخل فقال السلام عليكم أدخل فقلنا له ادخل فدخل
