Hadith 17:566
Kathir ibn Hisham narrated to us, from Ja'far ibn Burqan, who said: Mu'tamir narrated to us, saying: It reached me that Abu Hurayrah passed by a Jew and greeted him. It was said to him, "He is a Jew." He said, "O Jew, return my greeting, and I will pray for you." He said, "I have already returned it." He said, "O Allah, increase his wealth and his children."
حدثنا كثير بن هشام عن جعفر بن برقان قال حدثنا معتمر قال بلغني أن أبا هريرة مر على يهودي فسلم فقيل له إنه يهودي فقال يا يهودي رد على سلامي وأدعو لك قال قد رددته قال اللهم كثر ماله وولده
