Hadith 17:568
Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Husayn, who said: I was with al-Sha'bi, and we met a man who was riding. Al-Sha'bi initiated the greeting to him. I said, "Do you initiate the greeting to him while we are on foot and he is riding?" He said, "I have seen Shurayh greeting the rider."
حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن حصين قال كنت أنا والشعبي فلقينا رجلا راكبا فبدأه الشعبي بالسلام فقلت أتبدأه ونحن راجلان وهو راكب فقال لقد رأيت شريحا يسلم على الراكب
