Hadith 17:58
Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Mansur, from Abu 'Uthman, the freed slave of Al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)—the truthful, the believed, Abu al-Qasim, the master of this chamber—say: "Mercy is not snatched away except from a wretched person." Shu'bah said: I found it written with me.
حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن منصور عن أبي عثمان مولى المغيرة بن شعبة عن أبي هريرة قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الصادق المصدوق أبا القاسم صاحب هذه الحجرة لا تنزع الرحمة إلا من شقي قال شعبة وجدته مكتوبا عندي
