Hadith 17:595
Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, he said: Al-Mas’udi narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, the freed slave of the family of Talhah, from Kurayb, from Ibn ‘Abbas, he said: The name of Juwayriyah was Barrah, so the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, changed her name.
