Hadith 17:600
Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, he said: Abu Aqil narrated to us, he said: Mujalid ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from al-Sha'bi, from Masruq, who said: I met Umar ibn al-Khattab, and he said: "Who are you?" I said: "Masruq ibn al-Ajda'." He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'Al-Ajda' is a devil.'"
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم قال حدثنا أبو عقيل قال حدثنا مجالد بن سعيد عن الشعبي عن مسروق قال لقيت عمر بن الخطاب فقال من أنت فقلت مسروق بن الأجدع قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول الأجدع شيطان
