Hadith 17:650
Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ayyub al-Sakhtiyani, from Yusuf, from Talq ibn Habib, that a cupper took from the mustache of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He saw a gray hair in his beard, so he reached for it. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, took his hand and said, "Whoever grows a gray hair in Islam, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection."
حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أيوب السختياني عن يوسف عن طلق بن حبيب أن حجاما أخذ من شارب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فرأى شيبة في لحيته فأهوى إليها فأخذ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بيده وقال من شاب شيبة في الاسلام كانت له نورا يوم القيامة
