Hadith 17:66
Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from ‘Ata’ ibn Yazid, from Abu Ayyub, from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: "It is not lawful for a Muslim to shun his brother for more than three [nights]. They meet, and this one turns away, and this one turns away. And the better of the two is the one who begins with the greeting."
حدثنا بن عيينة عن الزهري عن عطاء بن يزيد عن أبي أيوب عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال لا يحل لمسلم أن يهجر أخاه فوق ثلاث يلتقيان يصد هذا ويصد هذا وخيرهما الذي يبدأ بالسلام
