Hadith 17:674
Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, from Abu Munin, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: We were sitting with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when a man sneezed and praised Allah. The Prophet said, "May Allah have mercy on you." Then another sneezed and he remained silent and did not say anything to him. So he said, "O Messenger of Allah, this one sneezed and you said to him, 'May Allah have mercy on you,' and I sneezed and you did not say anything to me." He said, "Indeed, this one praised Allah, and you remained silent."
حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد عن أبي منين عن أبي حازم عن أبي هريرة قال كنا جلوسا عند النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فعطس رجل فحمد الله فقال النبي يرحمك الله ثم عطس آخر فسكت فلم يقل له شيئا فقال يا رسول الله عطس هذا فقلت له رحمك الله وعطست فلم تقل لي شيئا فقال إن هذا حمد الله وأنت سكت
