Hadith 17:685
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Abu al-Munabbih, he said: I asked al-Hasan about a man who needs to enter upon the people of the dhimma (protected non-Muslims) due to rain or cold; should he ask their permission? He said: Yes.
