Hadith 17:691
Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Abu al-Munabbih, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, who said: A man sneezed in the presence of Ibn Umar and said, "Ashhab." Ibn Umar said, "Ashhab is the name of a devil that Iblis placed between the sneeze and the praise of Allah (al-hamdu lillah) so that he would be mentioned."
حدثنا معتمر بن سليمان عن أبي المنبه عن بن أبي نجيح عن مجاهد قال عطس رجل عند بن عمر فقال أشهب قال بن عمر أشهب اسم شيطان وضعه إبليس بين العطسة والحمد لله ليذكر
