Hadith 17:711
'Abdah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Ya'qub ibn 'Utaybah, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) confirmed Umayyah ibn Abi al-Salt regarding something of his poetry, or he said: regarding two lines of his poetry. He said: "Saturn and a bull are beneath the sole of his right foot, and the Eagle is for the other, and a lion lying in wait." He said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "He spoke the truth." "And the sun rises every last part of the night, red, its color becoming rosy." He said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "He spoke the truth."
حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن محمد بن إسحاق عن يعقوب بن عتيبة عن عكرمة عن بن عباس أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صدق أمية بن أبي الصلت في شيء من شعره أو قال في بيتين من شعره فقال % زحل وثور تحت رجل يمينه % والنسر للاخرى وليث مرصد % قال فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صدق % والشمس تطلع كل آخر ليلة % حمراء يصبح لونها يتورد % قال فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صدق
