Hadith 17:715
Fadl and 'Abdah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Abu Janab, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit: That Hassan ibn Thabit recited verses to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: "I bear witness, by the permission of Allah, that Muhammad is the Messenger of the One who is above the heavens, from on high. And that Abu Yahya and Yahya, both of them, have deeds in their religion that are accepted. And that the brother of al-Ahqaf, when he stood among them, spoke regarding the essence of Allah among them and acted justly."
حدثنا الفضل وعبدة بن سليمان عن أبي [ جناب ] عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت أن حسان بن ثابت أنشد النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام أبياتا فقال % شهدت باذن الله أن محمدا % رسول الذي فوق السماوات من عل % % وأن أبا يحيى ويحيى كلاهما % له عمل في دينه متقبل % % وأن أخا الأحقاف إذ قام فيهم % يقول بذات الله فيهم ويعدل %
