Hadith 17:717
Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Mujalid, from al-Sha'bi, who said: Hassan was mentioned in the presence of Aisha, and it was said to her: "He aided [the opposition] against you, and he did such and such, and he did such and such." She said: "Desist, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: 'Indeed, Allah supports Hassan in his poetry with the Holy Spirit.'"
حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن مجالد عن الشعبي قال ذكر عند عائشة حسان فقيل لها انه قد أعان عليك وفعل وفعل فقالت مهلا فإني سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول إن الله يؤيد حسان في شعره بروح القدس
