Hadith 17:722
Abu Usama narrated to us, from Nafi’, who said: Abdullah had a slave girl, and he used to conceal from his wife his having intercourse with her. He said: So he had intercourse with her one day, then he came to his wife, and she accused him of having had intercourse with her. He denied that. She said: "Then recite the Quran." He said: "I bear witness, by the permission of Allah, that Muhammad is the Messenger of the One who is above the heavens, from above; and that Abu Yahya and Yahya, both of them, have deeds accepted in their religion." She said: "It is not that."
حدثنا أبو أسامة عن نافع قال كان لعبد الله جارية فكان يكاتم امرأته غشيانها قال فوقع عليها ذات يوم فجاء إلى امرأته فاتهمته أن يكون وقع عليها فأنكر ذلك فقالت اقرأ إذا القرآن فقال % شهدت بإذن الله أن محمدا % رسول الذي فوق السماوات من عل % % وأن أبا يحيى ويحيى كلاهما % له عمل في دينه متقبل % فقالت أولا ذلك
