Hadith 17:746
Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from Hisham, who said: I heard my father say: I left her—meaning 'Aisha—three years before she died. And I have not seen anyone more knowledgeable of the Book of Allah, nor of the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), nor of poetry, nor of the laws of inheritance, than her.
