Hadith 17:776
Ja'far ibn 'Awn narrated to us, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, who said: Ibn al-Zubayr used to charge at them until he drove them out of the gates, and he would say: "If my opponent were one, I would suffice against him. We do not bleed on our heels, but rather the blood drips upon our feet."
حدثنا جعفر بن عون عن هشام بن عروة قال كان بن الزبير يحمل عليهم حتى يخرجهم من الأبواب ويقول % لو كان قرني واحدا كفيته % لسنا على الأعقاب تدمى كلومنا % % ولكن على أقدامنا يقطر الدم % %
