Hadith 17:779
Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Dawud, that Sa’id ibn al-Musayyib said: The sun does not rise until three hundred and seventy angels accompany it. Have you not heard Umayya ibn Abi al-Salt say: "It does not rise for us in its course, except while being tormented and while being lashed."
حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن داود أن سعيد بن المسيب قال لا تطلع الشمس حتى يصحبها ثلاثمائة ملك وسبعون ملكا أما سمعت أمية بن أبي الصلت يقول % ليست بطالعة لنا في رسلها % إلا معذبة وإلا تجلد %
