Hadith 17:78
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, from al-Ahnaf ibn Qays, from a cousin of his from Banu Tamim, from Jariyah ibn Qudamah, that he said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell me a statement and make it brief, so that I may perhaps comprehend it." He said: "Do not become angry." He repeated it to him several times, and each time he said: "Do not become angry."
حدثنا بن نمير عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن الأحنف بن قيس عن بن عم له من بني تميم [ عن ] جارية بن قدامة أنه قال يا رسول الله قل لي قولا وأقلل لعلي أعيه قال لا تغضب فأعاد عليه مرارا كل ذلك يقول لا تغضب
