Hadith 17:785
Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu’bah, from Sa’d ibn Ibrahim, from his father, from ‘Uthman, who said: "For the inside of a man to be filled with pus is better for him than for it to be filled with poetry."
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن سعد بن إبراهيم عن أبيه عن عثمان قال لأن يمتلئ جوف الرجل قيحا خير له من أن يمتلئ شعرا
