Hadith 17:824
Abu Usama narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Bard, from Makhul, who said: Whoever seeks knowledge of Hadith to argue with the foolish, or to boast before the scholars, or to turn the faces of the people toward himself, then he is in the Fire.
حدثنا أبو أسامة عن سفيان عن برد عن مكحول قال من طلب الحديث ليماري به السفهاء أو ليباهي به العلماء أو ليصرف به وجوه الناس إليه فهو في النار
