Hadith 17:84
Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Humayd ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, from a man among the companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), that he came to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and said: "Advise me with a word, and do not make it too much for me." He said: "Avoid anger." He repeated it to him, and he said: "Avoid anger." He repeated it to him, and he said: "Avoid anger."
حدثنا بن عيينة عن الزهري عن حميد بن عبد الرحمن عن رجل من أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه أتى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال أوصني بكلمة ولا تكثر علي قال اجتنب الغضب فأعاد عليه فقال اجتنب الغضب فأعاد عليه فقال اجتنب الغضب
