Hadith 17:844
Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Sa‘id ibn Abi ‘Arubah, from Qatadah, from Abu Ayyub, from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr, who said: The likeness of the one who plays with dice without gambling is like the one who smears himself with fat but does not eat its meat.
حدثنا بن علية عن سعيد بن أبي عروبة عن قتادة عن أبي أيوب عن عبد الله بن عمرو قال مثل الذي يلعب بالكعبين ولا يقامر كمثل المدهن بشحمه ولا يأكل لحمه
