Hadith 17:893
Shababa ibn Sawwar narrated to us, he said: Shu'ba narrated to us, he said: 'Uqba ibn Hurayth narrated to me, he said: I heard Ibn 'Umar, and a storyteller (qass) came and sat in his gathering. Ibn 'Umar said, "Get up from our gathering." He refused to get up. So Ibn 'Umar sent word to the chief of police, "Make the storyteller get up." He sent [someone] to him, and he made him get up.
حدثنا شبابة بن سوار قال حدثنا شعبة قال حدثني عقبة بن حريث قال سمعت بن عمر وجاء رجل قاص وجلس في مجلسه فقال بن عمر قم من مجلسنا فأبى أن يقوم فأرسل بن عمر إلى صاحب الشرط أقم القاص فبعث إليه فأقامه
