Hadith 17:900
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: 'Abdah bin Sulayman narrated to us, from Ubaydullah bin Umar, from Nafi', who said: There was no storyteller (al-qass) in the time of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, nor in the time of Abu Bakr, nor in the time of Umar, nor in the time of Uthman.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع قال لم يكن القاص في زمن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ولا زمن أبي بكر ولا زمن عمر ولا في زمن عثمان
